Members of the Atlanta Rabbits Amateur Radio Club joined ARES (Amateur Radio Communications Service) when they provided communications support at the Daingerfield State Park over the weekend.

Members of the Atlanta Rabbits Amateur Radio Club joined the USS Batfish Amateur Radio Club aboard the USS Batfish to work amateur radio stations using the WW2SUB call sign for the Pearl Harbor Day Memorial Weekend.

Parents who cannot travel with the band to the state competition can pull up a website that shows where the band is located in real time.  Beacons will be sent the entire duration of the trip.

Founders of the Atlanta Rabbits Amateur Radio Club set up camp for the Texas QSO Party.  The goal of the contest is to make as many contacts with stations in as many counties in Texas as possible.

Cass County is considered a "rare" county, as there have not been many stations operating from Cass County in the past.

Students in the ham radio course as part of the BLAST after-school program aren't just learning about ham radio, they're experiencing it!  For the past seven weeks, Jerry Goodson W5BFF has been working with four students who are working towards passing the technician exam.  Launching the weather balloon was the "hands on" exercise during the course.
