Mission Craft: Lepus-A
Mission Status:  Complete

Mission Summary

Icarus I is the first Icarus Mission that was planned and launched in 2016.  The Lepus-A module was lost when the GPS locked up after reaching an altitude of 105,267 feet.  The Lepus-A continued sending beacons at 1-minute intervals as programmed, but continued transmitting the same GPS location data.  The barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature sensors on board the craft appeared to continue function correctly.
